Join Faith Lutheran Church of Rotonda West
When you visit, you can expect meaningful worship, friendly people, great music, and a comfortable setting to connect with God.
What to Expect
When you come to visit us, please expect to be greeted warmly. We believe the first time you come you are guests and from then on you are a part of the family. We hope you will be willing to introduce yourself, we want to get to know you. No matter where you are from, there will be others at Faith from the same area.
Our ushers will insure that you receive a packet of information about Faith, which contains a visitor information card, and will hand you a bulletin containing the worship service, including readings and hymns for that day’s worship. Special offering envelopes are located in the narthex. Just ask an usher for one. Please dress comfortably as dress tends to be casual at worship.
During the winter, from November through April, services are at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. Both services are identical and will focus on the Gospel reading for the day and feature Holy Communion, the meal we share in common as members of the body of Christ.
During the remaining months the service is at 9:30 a.m., followed by Bible Study immediately after the service.
Wednesday services are at 7:00 p.m. during the seasons of Advent and Lent. Both Christmas and Easter celebrations offer special services focusing on the birth and resurrection of Jesus.
At each service you can expect a focus on God’s Word and how it applies to our lives. A confession of sins and statement of God’s forgiveness is followed by readings, hymns, and a sermon exclaiming the “good news” of God’s love for us. Prayer and Holy Communion and a benediction complete our weekly journey.
